Happy April, everyone! I'm hoping to start posting a new one every week, so stay tuned. This one was co-written with my cousin Darin - he had the 4 chords at the top and the first two lines of lyrics...and then I took the ball and ran. We were talking about feeling a lot of ennui and dissatisfaction lately...and that conversation basically just bled into this song.
I recorded it pretty quickly, maybe one or two takes on just about everything. I'm mostly happy that I am getting better at doing basic keyboard stuff (organ and piano). I mixed it really quickly, too, so a later version might sound a lot different..and maybe better. Anyways...enjoy!
